My name is Justin Rojas and my life has been filled with transitions of identity, but in the end, I’ve realized I’ve always been me. I was the student who earned straight A’s. I was the collegiate athlete who wanted perfection. I gave up on a childhood dream I thought I wanted. I started my first business at 21 and failed. I sold my first business of scale at 32 and again at 36. I retired from a career that defined me at 37. My life story of extreme transitions fuels Cognizant Lab.
For most of my life I never asked why. I never questioned how I operated. I never knew me. My background is in business, coaching, fatherhood and husbandry. My experience in these areas has taught me the importance of taking time to pause and reflect on the things that matter most in life.
I’ve helped hundreds of people through their own transitions— quarter life transitions, career change, starting a business, selling a business, mid-life transitions, marriage, parenthood, and retirement.
I believe that everyone deserves an opportunity to know who they are as well as their purpose and what’s important to them during life’s big transitions. My goal is to prepare individuals for an intentional and successful transition by helping them be cognizant of who they are and what is in front of them.
